Jordan Whitehead, Psychologist

Psychologist in Melbourne for addiction, life issues, and feeling stuck.

Practical, down to earth therapy for people who feel out of control, caught in patterns they can’t shift, or quietly struggling beneath the surface.

You might look like you’re coping, but it doesn’t feel that way.
You’ve tried to stop or change, but it keeps coming back.
You’re functioning, but stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected.

I help people understand what is actually going on, and what to do next.
No scripts, no jargon. Just clear, useful conversations that move things forward.

Grounded Approach

Blending science & mindfulness

My Approach

I take a practical, down to earth approach to therapy, helping you understand what is going on and what to do next.

My work is grounded in proven approaches, but it never feels clinical or scripted. It is a real conversation, focused on what is actually happening in your life.

I am completing a Doctor of Psychology in Grief, with a focus on the kinds of loss people carry quietly. I also bring lived experience of ADHD and autism, which means I understand neurodivergence in a real, everyday way.

We work together in a collaborative way, with a focus on getting you unstuck and moving forward.

New! Therapist day retreats

Alongside my clinical work, I am slowly developing reflective retreats for therapists and helping professionals. These are gentle spaces for pause, rest, and remembering what matters. They are not therapy, but carefully held days shaped by psychology, conversation, and quiet reflection. The retreats are designed to step out of urgency and return to meaning, presence, and connection. They will be offered as small, intentional gatherings at Abbotsford Convent and later in regional Victoria.
